back to school

so the first week back this quarter i spent in bed & in the doctors/nurses office. of course... no surprise i had bronchitis and was really sick. spending 5 hours in the e.r. with emilie one day was a highlight... too bad the great picture she took on her phone of me using the nebulizer in my super cute holey gown wouldn't send otherwise everyone would get to see how much fun we were having! being locked up all week/weekend resulted in A ROOM REVAMP. here are some pics of the new room....

sometimes when i come in the room my roommate has left me awesome little things like this that make the day so much better after long days of class and boredom and tiredness! i truly have the greatest roommate ever possible!

now the futon faces my desk and the rug is between alyssa and my chair. it makes a cozy little area to hang out with people!

so we love it =) we are having a great time with our new room and redecorating!

christmastime

me & some friends planned a 4th floor christmas party for us and the boys down in the lounge... it went really well & we had a bunch of fun having gingerbread house making contests and eating =)

right before christmas break we had a night called tradition with the whole school getting together in the lawn and having a night of christmas with lots of food and good times. after we had Ashton hall ice skate night & we had a ton of fun!

catching up

so during the second half of fall quarter i didn't really keep up with this but i had some requests to have this updated more often so here we go....

looking back through fall quarter school was wonderful - more than i ever had expected so here's a little recap of all the time i missed updating is...

pictures are kind of out of order of how they actually occurred but i think it gives everyone a good idea of what i was up to =)

alyssa fell out of her chair and broke the christmas tree one night...

breanne and I went to etiquette night with a bunch of people with our floor & we learned business etiquette and it was really fun & we got to look cute!

10 of us went to a seahawks game and we sold programs for a few hours and then we got into the game for free!

one day when we didn't have school we went to a private nail spa room to get pampered!

so one thing i love about seattle is the fall which we don't have in southern california. so a sunday afternoon was spent walking to fremont with some girls.... the fall colors were beautiful!

i also took a trip to stanwood and above is breanne's house where we stayed halloween weekend. football game, going to the island and carissa's farm where we had homemade bread and blackberry jam and applesauce! we also had a good family dinner and church on sunday with breanne's family!

food, jacuzzi, great bed, shopping, doctor, movies, parks, etc etc. it couldn't have been better. i took her to gasworks park and we took a couple of pictures as proof that she was here.

last saturday night a bunch of us from our floor decided to go to gasworks for the night - 9 of us girls got coffee/ice cream went on a walk to gasworks and hung out for a while before walking back. we also stopped by the fremont troll for a little climb/ photo shoot =D

kerry park adventure

a nice fall day and a free afternoon - breanne and i decided to walk 2 miles to one of the most beautiful places on earth, well at least in seattle, kerry park =D we played with leaves, looked at the wonderful city we're so blessed to live in, played on the most scary playground toy ever and just had a wonderful walk there and back, stopping at little shops as we went =D

so considering i have never seen rugby before i decided i would go along with my p.a. and see what it was all about - it definitely was an interesting experience for sure. here's some pics of girls from my floor at our schools rugby game =D
