last saturday night a bunch of us from our floor decided to go to gasworks for the night - 9 of us girls got coffee/ice cream went on a walk to gasworks and hung out for a while before walking back. we also stopped by the fremont troll for a little climb/ photo shoot =D

kerry park adventure

a nice fall day and a free afternoon - breanne and i decided to walk 2 miles to one of the most beautiful places on earth, well at least in seattle, kerry park =D we played with leaves, looked at the wonderful city we're so blessed to live in, played on the most scary playground toy ever and just had a wonderful walk there and back, stopping at little shops as we went =D

so considering i have never seen rugby before i decided i would go along with my p.a. and see what it was all about - it definitely was an interesting experience for sure. here's some pics of girls from my floor at our schools rugby game =D

so i realize i haven't updated this for quite a while - things have become quite busy around here the past few weeks and still are but im tired and sick so i deserve a little bit of a break.

so one friday night friends across the hall, jordan and lacey, took me and alyssa to a swing dancing club downtown and we had fun dressing up and dancing the night away =D

Ashton Retreat at Camp Casey

This weekend was our hall retreat and we took a drive to Camp Casey on Whidbey Island for some hall bonding...

It was a beautiful day and we were camping in barracks right on the puget sound. It was gorgeous!

We were so hungry after driving all through lunch.

Initiation

Freshman initiation was a really fun day - we had a great time bonding as a floor all day. we were woken up at 6:30 and taken to the beach for a time of sophomore advice and prayer - writing our fears on rocks and throwing them into the water. Then we had a pancake breakfast in our lounge courtesy of the sophomores.... which then ended up in the passing out of 4th east ashton diapers for us to wear all day. later that night we were kidnapped, blindfolded by the sophomores, and taken to Bubble Tea for some awesome tapioca drinks =D - we really got off easy for our initiation!

If we weren't wearing it all day we had to wear it on our heads - it was interesting to say the least but we embraced them!

Some friends and I took the bus downtown for dinner and a little shopping and some cheesecake from cheesecake factory to bring back to watch a girlie movie! We decided since it was raining hard we would rock our rainboots =D - thanks alice - they really come in use here! I'm a giant compared to my roomate! Then we got hair color and colored my hair .... check it out =D (it's really not much darker)

A walk through Queen Anne

So yesterday Alyssa and I went on a little visit to Queen Anne hill for some coffee and some groceries... Queen Anne is the awesome town that we live in - very ritzy and everything is so cute! I love it and there is so much awesome culture here I really enjoy it so I decided to take some abstract photos. here ya go - hope you enjoy them! (I do admit there was some obvious photo editing done to the colors because they would have been a little lame without it)
